Dogs + Bikes Calendar - Call for Submissions

Calling all dogs on bikes!
This is a project we’ve been wanting to do for a long time. We’re going to make a 2023 calendar assembled from the best “Dogs & Bikes” photo submissions, and donate the profits to one of our fave rescue organizations, One Tail at a Time. Our own sweet pup Benny came from OTAT in 2020, and we’re so grateful for the work they do.

Ideal photo submissions are:
• around 1600 x 1200 pixels (larger is fine)
• landscape orientation
• bright & clear
• show your dog loving a bike ride

Our old pal Emmett (RIP) made the daily commute to the shop in a trailer. New boo Benny prefers running on singletrack. Where does your fur baby ride? In a basket, bucket, trailer or bag, on the handlebars, or running alongside like a maniac? We want to see!

Send photo submissions to becky@goldenpliers.com by April 24th for consideration. Our staff will choose our 12 favorite photos and if yours is chosen, you get a free copy of the calendar and a $25 gift certificate to Golden Pliers.

One Tail at a Time is an all-breed, no-kill, foster-based companion animal rescue in Portland, Oregon. Our mission is to improve the lives of companion animals by providing humane, individualized care and a chance to know the comforts of a loving home through advocacy, education, and support of those in need. We save at-risk dogs from overcrowded shelters in communities that need it most. We then place dogs into loving volunteer foster homes who care for them until adopted, where they receive any and all necessary medical attention and behavior support before being matched with a forever home.
